We've found a cheap first aid pack that has the following items:

  • 2 roll Zinc Oxide Adhesive Plaster (1.27cm x 5m)

  • 10 pcs Adhesive Bandage (1 x 4cm)
  • 30 pcs Cotton Tipped Appricator (length: 7.62cm, 10pcs/packet)
  • 10 pcs Gauze Pad (5x5cm, sterile, 2pcs/pkt)
  • 6 pcs Gauze Pad (10.16 x 10.16cm, sterile, 2 pcs/pkt)
  • 4pcs PVC Gloves (Size: L, 2pcs (1 pair) / pkt)
  • 20 pcs Sterile Absorbent Cotton (0.5 gram/pcs, 10 pcs/pkt)
  • 30 pc Alcohol Prep Pad (5 x 5cm)

    If anyone feels that we need anything more then in that pack let us know. As we have managed to obtain 2 of these packs.

Discussion of what we will need to ensure is organised;

- First aid kits

- Heath and safety forms from members

- Allegies- food and medicine

- Identify members that have first aid certificate, Anaphylaxis management, lifeguard certificate.

Discussion:

One first aid qualified member must be in each activity group- member must accept the responsibility of first aider, supply certificate.

What must be completed:

-Must determine what clothing is required (Appropriate for activites and weather)

- Weather conditions

- Allergy/Medication/Health/Illness and Injury forms - DEECD (Closer to camp date so injury reports are up to date)

-First Aid Kids - Portable (We need to provide)

-Emergency Contacts

June 25

Ryan changed from ADANAC's main source of contact.

Risk Management plans are attached to activity plans on the ADANAC website
Local Services include 1 Doctor in town (next one is in Lilydale)
Safety protocols will be discussed by ADANAC staff when we arrive at camp.

Health forms printed by Tim and distributed to camp members. (members must have forms completed and returned by 25th July)

Remind members to place any current injuries on the form if not specified. For our own piece of mind.

Reminded members to hand their form in-must be in by meeting August.

Ashlee to begin compiling forms into table and complete checklist of member forms returned.

Send reminder email to members re: health forms. - Can't go on camp if we don't have the form.

August 1

Final camp forms collected.

Document to finalised by Ashlee- including alergies, injuries and swimming ability of all members.

Ashlee to communicate with Amy Feidler regarding food requirments/dietary needs (allergies etc).

Check final weather schedual - Mostly sunny 1 day of rain if lucky
